25 Weeks and Feeling Domestic

This weekend I made John do a project with me. We planted an herb garden! I have never done this before....I hope we did it right...I hope they survive! We planted basil, oregano, parsley, cilantro and a jalapeno plant. I use them so much in cooking that I thought it would be wise to try and grow a supply of my own. Then John had the motivation to take care of our weeds. What a nice husband. AND best of all: he took me to Dairy Queen! What a happy day. (This is all while the basketball playoffs were on!)

I've been feeling very domestic recently. I baked lemon bars last week, I've been thinking of ways to stay organized and cleaning out closets, getting rid of stuff we don't use. I think next weekend I'll finish this quilt I started a year and half ago....

  1. Looks like a lot of fun! Herbs are a lot of fun to grow and Jer knows a lot if you ever need help.

  2. Sounds like nesting :) It didn't kick in for me until about 35 weeks. By 40 weeks, I was cleaning the floor on hands and knees determined to find every dust particle.

  3. Yeah, I think I have a little nesting going on. I'll get these little urges to clean something or move something around.
